women from various countries, different nationalities and backgrounds. Some with papers, some without papers. We work as domestic workers or our mothers, friends or neighbors have. We have working conditions that make us very vulnerable working hours can become 16 hours, we have no unemployment or sick leave until 29. Experience insecurity and lack of resources in large cities and we have no aid to reconcile and work. Difficult work conditions and fear of isolating, separating. So we decided to go out together, as a real challenge to the isolation and fear, as a way to make us stronger.
say that the Special Conditions of Employment of Household is an unfair system. The use of home claims the lives of thousands of homes every day and yet is invisible work, undervalued. We want this to change and that matches with the General, an important step in the recognition of its value. And that undocumented workers can enjoy the same rights as the rest. We can not forget that this work is happening at the hands of some women (those of the North) to another (the countries of the South), making the problem, far from disappearing, globalize.
We invite you to join the demonstration to be held March 28 at 13h. We would not be another manifestation: that everyone, individuals and groups, in Madrid or other cities, giving the call reappropriate the meaning more connected to their own experience, idea or feeling. Writing their own things, carrying their banners, making the manifestation of it under a common idea: "FOR IMMEDIATE MATCHING SYSTEM USING HOME ESECIAL OF THE GENERAL SCHEME AND THE RIGHTS OF UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS."
We want to be visible, we would be many and scream loud. We seek your complicity. I hope.
