Musicale Series Volume 10
Musicale Series Volume 10
Hi all, both illustrious followers of the blog as to newcomers. At first you do not need to tell you that is the kinematics Lounge series of compilations, but maybe if the second group, and more now to "comply" years with the tenth volume. Gone are the volume 9, published this about 1 year, also coinciding with the dates (pre) summer, on the other hand, is the best time to enjoy this music so compelling and sensual.
But we do not curl and get down to business. The Lounge Collection Kinematics question of choosing between the best and most rare easy listening music of the 60 and 70 and mostly produced in Italy, although there is also room for those coming from other places as disparate as England, France, Spain, etc.. The main style is the Bossa Nova, Lounge and the predominance orchestral soundtracks, all impregnated Jazz a very pronounced accent and elegant. Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni, Luis Enrique Bacalov, Fidenco Nico, Gianni Ferrio, Alessandro Alessandroni, Bruno Nicolai are just a tiny sampling of the classical authors of the songs you find here, a group of exceptional musicians who gave us an authentic musical moments excellent level of quality, elegance and expertise, sincere songs that are made very lacking today is that, that's partly the reason for the creation of this series of volumes.
But now to this new tenth volume, which has been waiting so long! Do not lie if I said I took more than half a year working on it (the test: the first teaser trailer dates from January 2010) You know that I know a bit from my previous work, which to push forward a volume, I need to find cuts that truly worthwhile, not anything better to spend " court. " And finding good parts and, moreover, are not well known is a difficult but exciting and rewarding at the same time!
This volume is entitled "Panorama Musicale" in part a nod to the library albums of that time and partly because we are really facing a "Music Gallery" truly impressive: from amazing slow songs, with strings by almost all the work, incredibly slow bossa nova elegant sax solos, flute, piano, harpsichord ... jazz and jazz waltz themes to 3 / 4, with scat, sung, Italian lounge, orchestral sounds BSO, beat ... real music scene! Although we must admit that the style with more dominance over others is the bossa nova, not only because of my predilection for this music, but more specifically to the one in the old continent and is todabia shocking to me that the best bossa nova ever performed did not emerge in Brazil, but in Italy! Mediterranean sounds and I, living in Barcelona, I have still present, is another characteristic not only of this, but from the other volumes of the series (especially the number 6 and 9). Mediterraneo is the sound: Cadaques probably be listening lounge-waltz theme "Superattico" Elvio Monti and Mario Molina (Complesso Hat) can give an idea of where the shots go. Flight arrangements, jazz, solo flute, piano and guitar provided below. That's right.
volumes are very much in this material, not just difficult to hear, but directly next to impossible and I'm sure most had never heard before, which is always appreciated. The first note of the album enjoyable as a small surprise in the introduction, musically by Ennio Morricone and the "master of ceremonies," the great Edda Dell'Orso, which contributed so much to this music, and welcomes us to the musical journey. Issues like the romantic "Per Item Rosalia" Daniele Patucchi (a classic already in the LC) and flutes Mediterranean guitar like Leonhardt Combo Beats or Giulio Complesso I'm sure Del Santo enjoyed very much, not to mention the wonders authentic bossa nova by Piero Piccioni with its "Ascot" or "Per Noi Due Soli", Gianfranco Plenizio with "Happiness" or the great guitarist Franco Altissimi with "Bonbon" or "Sugarplum" incredible compositions taken from his album Lollipop ( Bossa A Cena Metti A) to Flirt. "Quando Il Vento Change" is a beautiful song composed by Ugo Calise and find here with Stefano Russo's voice and guitar Santucchi Cicci, addition to the latest version "lounge" orchestral Calise. Toni Franco Chiari and Maiorani are two other guests in this volume with rare tracks that few people have heard ever, 2 tracks bossanova-class. Vladimir Cosma with the delicate issue scat "Christine" gets one of the few Italian interventions to the album, with Dan Seepers with this beauty called "The Sea is Over There" with amazing flute solos, plus scat male voice, as Bruno Zambrini's "Crociere Verso Il Sud" in an amazing 3 / 4!
Little more I can add, only that you put the CD either at home, in the car, on the phone ... and you enjoy the music, preferably in a pleasant environment, preferably about the sea or with good company, dining or doing other things just as good ... xD
What if I like is that once enjoyed it, write a comment about it to know your impressions and what have been your favorites, etcetera.
No more, I hope not to have to wait until next summer to speak to the LC11, but that is another story. Enjoy.
